The shoe has a buzzer that goes off whenever the sensor detects an obstacle in the way. It is strong enough for the wearer to be alerted.
“If there is an obstacle in the way, the sensor in the shoe will detect it and the buzzer will give an alert. When the buzzer rings, the visually impaired person can hear it and they can become alert and act accordingly to avoid the obstacle. ‘obstacle,” said Anukrit Karmakar, quoted by ANI.

“I made this smart shoe for the blind. My goal is to become a scientist. I will do other such work that will help people and make their lives easier,” he said.
