Blackpink member Rosé took a surprisingly bold approach to fall style in her latest outfit.

The “Pink Venom” musician posed on a blue ball on instagram behind the scenes of a new project, wearing a cut-out black crop top and high-cut briefs. The ensemble was layered under a fluffy green long-sleeved coat, which instantly resembled the titular character from “How The Grinch Stole Christmas”; Similar comparisons surfaced last year when Kendall Jenner posed on vacation in an equally fluffy green dress. Rosé’s outfit was completed with chin rings, as well as a set of dark denim leggings that hugged her knees and featured a flared silhouette with a white mesh underlay.

“A giant grinch or the little prince? the singer captioned the snap.

For footwear, the “Whistle” singer’s ensemble was completed with chunky black sneakers, featuring exaggerated chunky soles and mesh lace-up uppers. When paired with her leggings, the pair looked like a set of sneaker-soled boots, adding to the bold effect of her outfit.

This isn’t Rosé’s first edgy fashion moment in recent weeks, either. At the 2022 Video Music Awards in August, the star wore a black Saint Laurent long-sleeved mini dress with a large flower accent that came with its own draped front train, along with pointed black pumps.

For footwear, the “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” singer often wears sandals, pumps and slick boots from Saint Laurent, for which she is also the brand’s global ambassador. During performances and music videos, Rosé can be seen in chunky boots and platforms from brands such as Club Exx, Eytys and Dolls Kill. Outside of work hours, her casual looks often feature Adidas sneakers, as well as Vetements and Dr. Martens loafers and boots. In addition to wearing stylish shoes, the singer is also a brand ambassador for Tiffany & Co.
