Despite a terrifying theft incident earlier this week, Elton John continues his “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour.
The iconic entertainer was spotted leaving her New York hotel on Friday heading to a concert in New Jersey wearing an outfit that was almost entirely Gucci. That’s no surprise as the Alessandro Michele-led brand dressed Elton for his farewell tour. The “Crocodile Rock” singer donned a Gucci varsity jacket “The Angelic Society” featuring a navy wool body and cream colored leather sleeves.

Underneath, he wore a pink Gucci GG logo tracksuit with the luxury brand’s signature piping. On his feet, however, the legendary hitmaker sported a simple pair of black Asics trainers. John opted for the brand’s Gel-Pulse 12 running shoes, which feature an engineered mesh upper with neon green and blue accents. The silhouette sells for less than $100.

The sighting comes after John’s private jet was forced into an emergency landing, which took three tries due to excessively high winds, as it headed for the US from the UK Monday. The plane reportedly experienced problems with its hydraulic systems about an hour into the flight.
