Halle Bailey is spending her days at Disney in style. The “Baby Girl” singer shared a series of photos on Instagram yesterday that showed the musician and actress posing in an eye-catching look. Coming off on a high after filming her highly anticipated take on Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid,’ set for release in 2023, Bailey made a statement with a pair of Princess Ariel-themed Mickey ears worn on a blue bucket hat in the post.

The look also sees Bailey don a white long-sleeved crop top that coordinated with blue tie-dye pants that had a slightly flared leg. The pants were flowy and covered her shoes while adding movement to her casual outfit.

Bailey topped it off with a pair of pink and white Nike sneakers. The shoes were low cut and added a nice pop of color to her casual ensemble.

Synonymous with the hippie counterculture movement of the 60s and 70s, tie-dye evokes the psychedelic, carefree vibes of fashion. The DIY model regained some style in the 1990s before disappearing again until around mid-2019. Tie-dye designs differ in how the fabric is twisted, folded or crumbled, with the iconic tie-dye swirl being one of the most popular designs.

The other half of R&B group Chloe x Halle, together with her sister Chloe, Bailey also started to make a name for herself in the fashion industry. In 2020, she and her sister starred in a Fendi ad campaign for the brand’s Peekaboo handbag. The Bailey sisters also collaborated with Teva to create a capsule collection of sandals in 2018.
