Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips has left social media users baffled by his shoe choice after signing autographs while wearing shoes that look like Quavers.

The England international midfielder was spotted signing merchandise on the eve of their Premier League clash against Southampton – and fans were left rather confused by both the design and color of his boots.

Some comparing its new treads to Quavers due to their bold yellow color scheme, the soles resemble moose hooves with a canvas lining as well as a tie running down the front and excess material protruding over the ankles.

One fan replied, “What is Kalvin Phillips wearing on his feet?”

With a second adding: “No, this is officially the worst thing I’ve ever seen.”

A third continued: “He wears Quavers on his feet.”

With a fourth comically putting both feet in paper shopping bags and writing alongside snaps of her creation: “Shoes for sale @Kalvinphillips. Worn once.
