It’s officially swimwear season—hello, nice weather! To celebrate this time of year, celebrities are flooding their Instagram feeds with bikini photos, showcasing their know-how for posing in the sun and styling their swimsuits. For some stars, the key to accessorizing a swimsuit is using simple accessories like a sultry body chain or an oversized sun hat. On the other hand, some celebrities like to enhance their swimsuit style by using in addition creative pieces to complement their poolside ensembles – take Kate Hudson’s recent white bikini look for example.
On June 21, the actress shared a video on Instagram where she flexed her toned abs in a matching white bralette-style bikini top and bottom. To add an extra touch to the look, she styled her costume with a pair of sparkly bow heels from Stuart Weitzman. As she moved towards the camera, sunlight hit the shoes just to the right, creating plenty of opportunities to show off their beautiful embellished details and PVC straps. But that wasn’t the only surprise in Hudson’s look. Later in the video, she slipped on a little black dress over her bikini, showing off a fluid and quick change of outfit. Of course, her shoes paired perfectly with the heels.
While almost anyone can mimic Hudson’s all-white bikini look, her feminine and playful ensemble was apparently designed with brides-to-be in mind. Copy her outfit formula by styling your favorite white two-piece set with a pair of radiant heels. You can even use her trick to quickly change your outfit if you’re rushing from the beach to your bachelorette party. Go for styles like the bralette, which Hudson is wearing, an underwired suit, or even a bandeau top that will look understated under your planned party look.
