PJ Tucker is one of the world’s most prolific sneaker collectors. The Miami Heat forward has already created kicks with Dolce & Gabanna, showcased his grail shoes at Art Basel and even has a dedicated loft in Houston to house its ever-expanding collection. The sneakerhead recently decided to part ways with some of its rarer pairs, all in the name of charity.

In partnership with eBay and streetwear reseller Solestage, Tucker has at auction 100 pairs of sneakers from his private archives over the past two weeks. The selection included coveted Player Exclusive (PE) shoes, samples and collaborations from top brands such as Nike, Air Jordan and Louis Vuitton.

Ranging from $ 350 up to $ 15,000, the kicks were quickly picked up by other collectors, with part of the profits being donated soles 4 souls. This Tennessee-based non-profit organization distributes shoes and clothing to those in need with the goal of helping people break the cycle of poverty.

Tucker has listed 100 of his rarest pairs.

One of the flagship products for sale was Tucker’s pair of Nike Dunk SB Low “Heineken” sneakers. The low tops, which feature white and green leather uppers inspired by Dutch beer, have become particularly sought after by Air Jordan connoisseurs since their release in 2003.
