But soaring oil prices haven’t stopped Karl Stefanovic from fueling up his gas-guzzling Toyota V8 LandCruiser on Sydney’s Lower North Shore on Tuesday.
The Channel Nine host, 47, who earns an annual salary of $1.8million, was seen pumping gas on a servo at Willoughby, before heading to a nearby salon for a haircut.

Karl’s vehicle is worth a whopping $140,000 and has a fuel tank capacity of 138 liters.
With petrol prices in Sydney currently averaging $2 a litre, the Today show presenter could well have spent up to $276 at the bowser on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Karl and his wife Jasmine are expecting a big payday after putting their $3.6 million vacation home in Noosa, Queensland up for sale.
The house is located on a street where millionaires and politicians vacation, meaning it will likely sell at the upper end of its price guide, or even exceed expectations, reports real estate.com.au.

Karl confirmed the lavish property’s listing last month, revealing he and Jasmine weren’t using it enough to warrant ownership.
The couple had bought the house in 2020.
“The reality is that I can’t get far enough away from work in Sydney and the logistics of getting in and out of Queensland have been difficult,” Karl said. The Mail Mail.
