It was the first and most special Father’s Day for actor Priyanka Chopra and singer-actor Nick Jonas. The couple welcomed their first child – daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas in 2022. On Father’s Day, the two shared an adorable photo of the little one with her father, without showing their faces. The photo shows Nick standing with his back to the camera, holding their baby girl, who was wearing a brown dress. While Malti Marie is wearing white sneakers with “MM” written on them, Nick’s shoes have “MM’s Dad” written on them. Wishing Nick on the occasion, Priyanka wrote for him on Instagram on Monday, “Happy 1st Father’s Day my love. Watching you with our baby girl is my greatest joy…what an amazing day to come home.. . I love you…here are many more.”
Nick also shared the photo on his Instagram and wrote, “First Fathers Day with my baby girl. Thank you @priyankachopra for the amazing Father Daughter sneakers and for making me a dad I love you so much. Happy Father’s Day to all dads and guardians. »
Priyanka and Nick brought Malti Marie home around Mother’s Day 2022, after the newborn spent over 100 days in the NICU. She was born through surrogacy.
Nick was asked about paternity during his appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show. He said: “It’s pretty wild. She’s got a little heart face. She’s the best, it’s just been a magical season of our lives and also pretty wild. But it’s a blessing to have her at home, and it’s wonderful.”
He previously told NBC how big his family is now. “It’s a big family now, my brothers have kids, the Jonas family just keeps getting bigger. My parents are delighted – grandparents to now four beautiful granddaughters,” he said.
