German luxury house MCM has teamed up with leading sports brand PUMA.
The two style giants worked together in 2018 to release a special edition of PUMA’s iconic Suede. This time, the PUMA x MCM range aims to capture “the charisma and exhilaration of all things basketball.”
Up-and-coming basketball superstar Mikey Williams has also been signed as a triple-double for the global campaign.
“The love story between luxury and sport is clear in this second collaboration we have created with MCM, the classic details of the two German brands are visible in the design and construction,” said Heiko Desens, Creative Director PUMA Global. “The first time we worked together was an instant hit, I’m sure it will happen again and everyone will be thrilled with what’s to come.”

PUMA and MCM take the ball both on and off the pitch – with a spectacular three-drop outing. The first took place on September 8 with show love, featuring a one-of-a-kind MCM edition of the PUMA Slipstream Lo, a reimagined court classic that will be adorned with Visetos Monogram cognac highlights – a longtime Haus hallmark. October sees the second decline To arrivethe PUMA Slipstream Lo will be adorned with black and white detailing and embellished with MCM’s striking cubic monogram for a complete visual box, the shoe is presented with a touch of Mikey Williams magic.
The third and final iteration of the collaboration will launch in the first half of 2023, featuring a sleek take on athletic classics, featuring lively ready-to-wear and a unique, eye-catching edition of PUMA’s TRC Blaze Court Shoe.
The first version of the PUMA x MCM Slipstream Lo was available worldwide from September 8 at MCM Worldwide in-store and online and from September 10 globally at select PUMA stores and its luxury distribution partners at retail price of 500 EUR.
