Off White x Nike Blazer Low
Can you imagine a better collaboration? Launching exclusively April 8 at Off-White™, Emquartier, this special collaboration between the brainchild of Virgil Abloh and Nike is inspired by the iconic basketball, skateboarding and trail running silhouettes that Virgil encountered while digging through the Nike archives in Oregon.
The Blazer Low features a cross-discipline, multi-sport aesthetic – a central motif in all of Virgil Abloh’s work, and is reminiscent of Nike basketball shoes from the 1970s. It is also the first of many collaborations developed by Virgil Abloh with Nike scheduled for release this year.

Valentino’s Open For a Change project
Here, two of Valentino’s signature sneakers — Open and Rockstud Untitled — are redesigned and re-dedicated in the spirit of open innovation with a more conscious ethic. Born from the Maison’s desire to explore innovative materials and techniques for a greener future, the latest versions of the Open and the Rockstud Untitled experiment for the first time with recycled and bio-based materials while maintaining the aesthetic patterns and emblematic of the House.
The sneakers, as part of Valentino’s SS22 collection, represent a conscious and firm step on the path to sustainable ethics. Available in a variety of different colorways, these models are based on a base of bio-based materials, used as an alternative to leather produced from viscose and polyol polyurethane derived from corn.
The sneakers are the first in line from the House’s latest project, the Valentino Garavani Open for a Change, whose symbol is a digitally printed green logo. The company aims to merge the brand’s inherent creativity with its environmental priorities, resulting in two cruelty-free shoe designs with a fully traceable European supply chain, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship.
