Today host Allison Langdon suffered a wardrobe mishap on Thursday.
The usually glamorous Nine presenter, 43, wore scruffy sneakers as she chatted with Los Angeles-based entertainment reporter Sam Rubin via Zoom.
While most of her outfits looked TV-ready, it was impossible to ignore her daggy shoes as she discussed Rupert Murdoch’s impending divorce from Jerry Hall.

She looked professionally presented when behind the news desk, but her sloppy shoes were clearly visible as she walked around the set.
She may have forgotten that her feet were going to be cut down.
It’s also possible that she still isn’t able to wear heels after injuring her leg last year.
She seriously injured her knee while filming a watersports segment on the Gold Coast in February 2021, and is still experiencing complications to this day.

Dramatic footage of Ally’s accident showed her being pulled from the water by her life jacket by two male lifeguards as her co-host Karl Stefanovic looked on.
She was immediately taken to hospital where she was treated before returning to Sydney for knee surgery.
The mother-of-two returned to the Today show a month later, in March 2021, wearing a brace on her knee and using a wheelchair and crutches to get around.
Since then, she has had regular sessions with a physiotherapist and her husband, media director Michael Willesee Jr, takes care of her.
During Thursday’s segment, Allison burst out laughing as Karl joked that it was time for Rupert Murdoch to “get his cock back in the rack.”
The Australian-born media mogul, 91, is believed to be divorcing his fourth wife, American model and actress Jerry Hall, 65.

While discussing the split live, the co-presenters couldn’t help but laugh at the thought of someone ending their marriage at such an advanced age.

Stifling laughter, she then asked Rubin if a potential fifth marriage was on the cards for the nonagenarian executive chairman of News Corp.

Rubin replied that Murdoch “is more dynamic” than most men his age, which made Ally laugh in the studio.
Karl then interrupted him: “What Ally is trying to say is that Rupert should put his cock back in the rack!”
But moments later, he suggested Murdoch remarry because he “loves life…he’s still a handsome man.” [and] rich.’
