Just hours after his death, massive demand hit the resale market for Off-White’s sneaker collection… with over 40 pairs of the popular Nike Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” collaboration selling for prices ranging from $6,565 $ to $10,500 on StockX.
So far, no word on what will happen with the Off-White Air Force 1 Mid (due to launch in 2022) or any of its unreleased work.

Abloh was Louis Vuitton’s first black American creative director and was known for his incredible sense of fashion – particularly in sneaker culture – creating some of the best kicks in the game, such as “The Ten” collection.
The 41-year-old has also designed Nike kicks to Serena Williams for his US Open 2018.
“Since 2016, Virgil has been a beloved member of the Nike, Jordan and Converse family,” Nike said in a statement following his death.
“He was a creative force who shared a passion for challenging the status quo, advancing a new vision while inspiring multiple generations along the way.”
