Adidas, the German sportswear conglomerate, has been reviving its classic Forum 84 retro basketball silhouette since last year. The brand has faithfully recreated the original Forum sneakers and is dominating the market by capitalizing on the retro basketball craze.
The three-stripe label revealed new makeovers and colorways for the silhouette on a seasonal basis. The Forum 84 Hi sneakers from the three-stripe brand are now available in Magic Beige. The sneakers were released on the official Adidas e-commerce site on August 15, 2022, for a retail price of $130.

The Adidas Forum 84 Hi sneakers were introduced to the world in 1984, and the sneakers have recently been updated from the original design to a modern approach with some modifications to the colorway and layout specifications.
The sneaker silhouette was never released in an exposed foam construction, though it remained in the brand’s vault for decades. Now, for the upcoming Adidas Original 84 silhouette, the proposal appears in the Cloud White / Magic Beige / Aluminum colorway.
The official website introduced the product as follows:
“Back in 1984, the adidas Forum sneaker unleashed a fury of energy and swagger on the hardwood. Now the B-ball vibes are back in your wardrobe. These shoes have the same criss-cross ankle design and the same premium upper that first made them legendary.”
The silhouette’s upper is done in a Cloud White base with an accented hit of Magic Beige and Aluminum hues for an understated look. The version builds the silhouette in a simple and timeless color palette, using premium materials.
The suede stripe construction contrasts the almost tonal white leather upper with varying shades of beige on the lateral sides. Notable details include the use of hairy suede with three side stripes, followed by three all-white stripes down the median.
Three-Stripe branding can also be found on the ankles, tongues and insoles. The sneakers’ inner lining is a faded brown tone, which matches the Dellinger stripe along the brown midsoles and outsoles.
Slightly yellowed midsoles add to the vintage and aged look of the shoe. These details, however, are overshadowed by the exposed foam material on the tongue, interior, collars, and interior lining.
The shoe has a lace-up closure strap with a hook-and-loop closure. The closure strap matches the color of the top base.
Exposed foam collars and various deconstructed patterns are relatively new to the sneaker community, but the pattern has remained vaulted over the three-stripe label. The Forum 84 Hi, however, is now available in foam construction due to the popularity of the vintage aesthetic.
The shoe is available for use on the official Adidas e-commerce site and at select retailers, beginning Monday, August 15, 2022, at a retail price of $130. The shoe is available in sizes ranging from US 5 to 14.
