With his eccentric shoe designs like the Jordan Zion 1 and Jordan Zion 2, Zion Williamson’s partnership with Nike is undoubtedly creating ripples in the sneaker community. Most recently, on June 22, 2022, the duo released the first “Voodoo” edition of their Jordan Zion 2 silhouette.

Jordan Zion 2 Now Gets A Dynamic Turquoise Makeover After Its Voodoo Release
Just a day before the wider launch of the Jordan Zion 2 “Hope Diamond” colorway, the shoe brand has decided to drop its all-new “Dynamic Turquoise” release. The first, released on June 30, 2022, will be offered for $140 a pair.
The description of the silhouette on the Nike website states,
“Channel your skills in shoes designed for Zion Williamson and designed for players of all levels. An adjustable strap top helps lock in your foot while an Air-Sole unit and firm midsole support high-paced play. Make it your number 1 choice for the terrain.
Several elements are assembled for these original designs of the Jordan Zion 2. Although most of the uppers are covered in white and black, the namesake “Turquoise” hits are prominent on the tongue tags as well as parts of the outer soles. Along with the turquoise hue, minimal hits of pink and neon green on the soles rightly justify its “Dynamic” aesthetic.
To make it perfectly suited for players on the court, there are many tiny perforations placed on the toe caps and on the lateral sides of the vamps. These white leather uppers are juxtaposed with black tongues as well as solid black laces.
The premium knitted tabs are embroidered with Zion Williamson’s signature, beautifully done with turquoise threads. A similar Zion signature is also added to the black insoles. The interior linings are all black, as well as the insoles of these dynamic pairs.
These tabs are topped with a white leather strap, sewn with Velcro fasteners. These perforated flanges are stamped with pink “ZOOM AIR” lettering.
As we move to the heel counters, we see soft, padded collars constructed from black textiles. Next to the black collars, the medial sides and entire heel sections of these shoes look remarkable with black velvety fabrics. These velvets add a glossy appeal to the heel counters, which are accented with a bright green Jumpman insignia.
The most colorful parts are the outsoles. Hues of pink, bright green, and turquoise are placed below to match the rest of the shoes’ two-tone design. Finally, the embossed pink panel with “Air Strobel” lettering is integrated on the heel portion of the outsole units.
