After its collaborations with Travis Scott and Kasina for the Air Max 1 silhouette, the sportswear giant – Nike – continues its streak for one of the most popular shoe lines. This time, the Air Max 1 launched in 1987, courtesy of Tinker Hatfield, comes dressed in a new color blocking scheme with a white and yellow contrast.

The upcoming Air Max 1 sneakers will be constructed from a mix of unique compositions of materials. The release date of the shoes has yet to be confirmed. However, the shoes will be available for purchase in the summers of 2022 on the official SNKRS e-commerce site.

2022 is in its sixth month, which leaves only half the year for Nike’s 35th anniversary celebrations of the Air Max 1 silhouette. Therefore, it’s more likely that the swoosh label will bring out more styles. collaborations, OG and GR, at the origin of the Air Max shoe line.

First seen on June 7, 2022 by sneaker leaker page, Sneakernews, the swoosh label has dressed their classic shoe silhouette in one of the most classic color blocking styles, but with a twist of a material. rather rare and certainly fresh.

Perfectly suited for Summer 2022, Nike releases the Air Max 1 covered in Bright Yellow and Basic White.

The most important feature of the sneakers is its construction, in which the upper is made of premium leather, while the base is made of mesh. More materials have been thrown into the mix with the addition of traditional rubber soles.

Yellow-colored premium leathers make up the side panels, swooshes, and mudguards, while White-colored leather overlays are applied to the heels and along the lacing area. A greater white hue is seen with the classic white sports mesh base at the toe and white nylon at the ankle.

Hints of yellow are further accentuated on the tongue and heel as branding with “Nike Air Max” lettering alongside the iconic swooshes. The classic off-white midsole is paired with a speckled gray rubber outsole. Air bubble units are visible atop the white midsole and rubber outsole, revealing the matching yellow Air Max unit, visible through the traditional Air Max window.

Completing the design are insoles that match the color blocking pattern followed throughout the shoe, as “Nike AIR MAX” branding is visible in a yellow hue on an all-white base.

The swoosh label has yet to announce a release date or reveal any pricing information regarding the shoes. However, according to sneaker leaks page Sneaker Bar Detroit, the shoes are slated for release in the summer of 2022, which could mean they’ll drop in a few weeks, per site SNKRS.

In other news, Nike is set to release the coveted and patiently awaited Stussy x Converse collaboration on its SNKRS site in a high-top and low-top silhouette on June 16, 2022.
