Oregon-based sportswear giant Nike has reintroduced its iconic Air Ship silhouette in 2020 through the “New Beginnings” pack. The Swoosh label is now expanding the catalog by preparing a Pine Green makeover of the shoes. The re-released shoes were loved by all sneakerheads, even though the sneakers were discontinued in very limited quantities.
The Pine Green Air Ship silhouette comes after the swoosh label recently released a new makeover featuring James Whitner and his team at A Ma Maniere. The Pine Green Air Ship can be redeemed at the official Nike SNKRS e-commerce site and a few select physical stores at a retail price of $140.
Official release information for the sneakers has yet to be revealed by the relevant labels. However, according to media reports, the pair is set to release in the spring of 2023.

The Nike Air Ship was originally known to be worn by Michael Jordan in his rookie season before his signature Air Jordan silhouette saw the light of day.
The Oregon-based sportswear giant reintroduced the Air Ship in 2020 via the “New Beginnings” shoe pack. Since then, the silhouette has expanded its catalog at a relatively steady pace.
Air Ship fans have been asking for a retro version of the Air Ship for over twenty years. Like its predecessors, the next iteration comes dressed in a two-tone presentation. The pair will arrive in White/Pine Green/White colorway.
Most of the shoe’s upper features a pristine white hue in smooth leather. The white smooth leather upper contrasts with the Pine Green hue on the collars and swooshes.
The new model makeover features a Pine Green hue on the tongue branding and rubber outsoles. On the other hand, a crisp white color is seen on the laces, heels, tongue, and midsole.
“Nike Air” lettering appears on the white tongue in a green font. The midsoles have a pale aesthetic, while the tread of the outsoles are coated in the titular hue.
The Air Ship Pine Green is set to release in early 2023 as a Spring/Summer offer on Nike’s official in-store and online e-commerce site, SNKRS, and select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide at retail price. of $140.
However, the aforementioned release information has yet to be confirmed by the Nike label itself.
In other news, alongside Pine Green, the Air Ship silhouette will also be released in a University Gold colorway. Like its counterpart, the pair features a White-based all-leather upper with traditional two-tone color blocking. The University Gold hue is seen on the swooshes, liners, collars, tongue tags, and outsoles.
The pristine white hue contrasts with hits of varsity gold as seen on the midsoles, tongues, laces and toe box. The pair is set to launch via the swoosh-brand’s official e-commerce site, SNKRS, alongside the Air Ship Pine Green trainers in men’s sizes.
