Nike has had a rich history of denim sneaker releases, including 3×1 Air Force 1, the Nike Golf “No Denim Allowed” pack, and Air Monarch 4 PRM, which debuted in previous years, followed by Nike Dunk High” Washed Denim” which surfaced recently in 2022.
These all-new Nike Dunk High Washed Denim sneakers will wrap up the brand’s June release. They will be available for purchase on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 10 a.m. EST. These exclusive women’s pairs will retail for $125 through Nike’s SNKRS app as well as at select retail stores.
Nike Dunk High Gets A Washed Denim Revamp For Summer Fashion
Ripped and faded denim sneaker designs will reappear in summer 2022, as evidenced by a few Nike staples and fan-favorite silhouettes. Concepts utilized early 1980s textiles in the Air Max 97, followed by the denim-inspired Blazer Mid, both introduced earlier this year.
The latest Nike Dunk High Washed Denim design appears to be part of an imminent Nike mini capsule, as these high tops are also made with a similar material.
The description of the sneaker on the sportswear brand’s official website says,
“These Dunk Highs are just as comfortable as your favorite pair of jeans. Modern shoe technology brings the Dunk High into the 21st century, but these vintage-inspired denim overlays take us back a few decades. Dressed in fabric that could have come from the cutting up of old denim shorts, the Dunk High “Denim” is ready for DIY summer fun and serious wear. A striking Habanero Red Swoosh completes the design with an Americana kick.
The next edition denim upper is constructed with stonewashed denim as well as high quality leathers. With an emphasis on denim, these pairs are made with modest color palettes that include white and red, as well as denim blue.
For starters, radial perforations cover the toes. These toes are then highlighted with denim. These denims are also used to make shoe eyelets, which are complemented by similar textile tabs.
The tongues are adorned with Nike Dunk labels in red. The tongues are topped with immaculate white laces. Alongside this arrangement, the collar section is covered with denim overlays.
To spice up the whole look of these special women’s sneakers, they are embellished with oversized swooshes on both sides. The swooshes on each side flow to the heel counters, where they are attached to a heel tab.

The distinct shades of white are used to design quality soles. Finally, the pairs are finished with matching white insoles stamped with similar Nike swoosh branding in bright red.
