Where to buy the Reebok Classic Leather Atmos x Baby Star sneakers? Price, release date and more details explored

Atmos Tokyo recently teamed up with Reebok and Japanese snack maker Oyatsu to create a limited edition Baby Star Ramen Reebok Classic Leather sneaker. The sneaker features noodle print overlays inspired by the famous crispy noodle snack.

The next Baby Star Ramen x Atmos Reebok Classic Leather shoe design will be available for the first time in an online raffle from August 29, 2022 until September 2, 2022. Following this, Ramen fans and other interested buyers will also be able to copy them through the Atmos. ‘ site live from September 3, 2022. Each pair will cost you ¥13,200 (about $96).

Baby Star Ramen will showcase food-themed Reebok Classic Leather shoes with Atmos

For the uninitiated, Baby Star Ramen has been a widely recognized savory since its inception in 1959. They are basically crispy noodle snacks widely available in convenience stores and supermarkets in Japan and other countries.

As part of a string of unusual partnerships that also includes a recently released Babeer brew, Baby Star Ramen recently gave a pair of Reebok Classic Leathers a brilliantly executed kitsch makeover.

Not so long ago, the official Instagram page of Atmos Japan announced the details of the upcoming collaborative release. In its caption, the retailer defined Classic Leather footwear as:

“The CLASSIC LEATHER, born in 1983, has long been appreciated by many people as a classic model. By combining the sole, this model has gained popularity not only as a high-functional running shoe, but also as a fashion item that can be worn on a daily basis.

As the name suggests, the Reebok Classic Leather sneakers are made from premium leather elements. The upper part of this upcoming shoe collection perfectly combines suede and textured leather overlays.

Although the majority of the uppers are covered in sleek white leather, pops of red and yellow in distinct places make these food-themed shoes more appealing. Imagery of popular Ramen characters such as “Hoshio-kun” and “Bay-chan” is also used to enhance the overall silhouette design.

The white suede toes have perforations to allow air circulation. White leather mudguards highlight the toes. White eyelets and tongue flaps are located next to the toes. These tongues are adorned with Reebok branded tabs as well as RAMEN lettering placed directly next to the eyelets. Finally, white lace ties complete the tongue areas.

On the back, the heel is printed with the iconic Baby Star Ramen characters “Hoshio-kun” and “Bay-chan” on the left and right, and the Baby Star vector logo on the side. The color scheme is eerily similar to the Baby Star Ramen package.

The symbolic pattern of noodles is fully utilized. The insignia on the insole sets this pair apart as one of a kind, making it hard for sneakerheads and Baby Star Ramen fans to resist.

The shoes are completed with the sole units in a neat layer of yellow, white and red. The outsoles are painted red to match the rest.

Mark your calendars as the new Baby Star Ramen x Atmos Reebok Classic Leather sneakers will be given away first in an online raffle from August 29 through September 2. Then they will go live on the Atmos website on September 3.
